1Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Totologic account or using the Totologic app, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. We may update these terms as described in Changes to the app or these terms below.
2Who can use Totologic
Totologic is designed for children roughly ages 3–8, used under the supervision of a parent or guardian. The account itself, however, must be created and held by an adult:
- You must be 18 years of age or older (or the age of legal majority where you live) to create a Totologic account.
- You're creating the account, and any child profile inside it, as the child's parent or legal guardian — or with that person's permission.
- Children use the app itself, but never register for or manage the account directly.
3Accounts & parental responsibility
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account, including every child profile you create. Please make sure the information you provide — for your account and for each child profile — is accurate, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4Purchases & subscriptions
Any optional purchases or subscriptions available in Totologic are billed through your app store account (for example, Google Play). Pricing, billing cycles, auto-renewal, and cancellation are governed by that app store's own terms and payment system — we don't process payment card details ourselves. If a subscription auto-renews, you can manage or cancel it at any time through your app store account settings; refunds are handled according to that store's refund policy.
5Acceptable use
Totologic is meant to be a safe, simple space for kids to play and learn. When using the app, please don't:
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app or the systems behind it
- Use the app for anything unlawful, or in a way that could harm another person or our service
- Attempt to access another family's account or data
- Use any automated process to access the app outside of normal, individual use
6Content & ownership
Totologic — including its design, activities, illustrations, branding, and underlying software — belongs to us and our licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your family's own use; this doesn't give you any ownership of the app itself.
Where a child creates something inside the app, like a finished painting, it stays associated with that child's profile for the family's own enjoyment and progress tracking. We don't publish, publicly display, or claim ownership over anything a child creates inside the app.
7Not professional advice
Totologic is a learning and activity app — it isn't a substitute for professional educational, developmental, or medical advice, and we don't make guarantees about specific learning outcomes. Decisions about screen time, education, and your child's development are yours to make, ideally with guidance appropriate to your own family's circumstances.
8Disclaimers
Totologic is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to keep it running smoothly and its content age-appropriate, we don't guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly suited to every child's individual needs.
9Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Totologic and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited where you live.
10Suspension & termination
You can stop using Totologic and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or where we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect the safety of children using the app or the integrity of our service. Where practical, we'll try to let you know why.
11Changes to the app or these terms
Totologic is an evolving product — we may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also update these terms; if we make a material change, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different consumer-protection law applies where you live and can't be waived by these terms.
